Dina Khalil is an Egyptian creative technologist and technical artist working across virtual, augmented, and mixed reality.

Her path into immersive technology began with journalism — studying at the American University of Kuwait, then pivoting toward new media and earning a Master's in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU's ITP program, where she focused on AR/VR, machine learning, and human-computer interaction. A UX/UI bootcamp at Columbia followed.

Her work explores identity, migration, and the act of inhabiting other perspectives. She has collaborated with Meta and Google, contributed to a Meta-backed AR experience at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo, and is currently an Artist in Residence at Diriyah Art Futures in Riyadh, developing a narrative-driven mixed reality installation for Meta Quest 3.

She is CPACC-certified and treats accessibility not as a checklist but as a design principle embedded from the start. Her work has been recognized by the Telly Awards, the Communicator Awards, and the XR Distribution Market at the NewImages Festival in Paris.

She also judges and mentors across the XR community, including at MIT Reality Hack, AIVA, and the New York Short Animation Festival.
